what you need to know before booking

scheduling

cake smashes take place in my studio, Monday-friday mornings. I recommend sessions happen when baby is 10 1/2 - 11 months old. This will give you plenty of time to print your images before the party.

snacks

snacks are such a great way to get your baby interested in the cake. we like to hide them on the back of the cake, and it helps get images when they arent interested in the cake.. which is very common.

session info

be sure to bring an extra outfit for baby, and maybe even one for yourself. sometimes babies need a little extra help with the cake so you may have to show them how to do it.. or they crawl to you with their cake hands.

cleaning

splash baths are the BEST way to end your session. It allows you to clean up the babies and also capture cute pictures of them splashing around. I provide towels, and some baby soap to help! But if you arent interested in a splash bath.. wipes always do the trick.

A $100 non-refundable retainer fee is due within 48 hours after booking. The retainer fee is subtracted from the session fee and the remaining balance is due on the day of the session.

All collections are plus tax.

Extra images may be purchased at $12 per image.

Prices are subject to change without notice unless retainer fee is paid.

turnaround time is 1-2 weeks during slower months and up to 2-3 weeks during busy months.

Rush editing is available for an additional cost of $100
